Face and Head for Interactive Toys by Matthew Cioffi of IS Robotics

The model pictured here is an example of the quality digital modeling done at IS Robotics by Toy Division designer Matt Cioffi. The Toy Division at IS Robotics was formed exclusive to provide Hasbro with the unique opportunity to create highly-intelligent, interactive toys just in time for the new millennium.

As part of it's alliance with Hasbro, IS Robotics comes up with nothing short of revolutionary work flows in the design of both hardware and software components use in the composition of compelling and interactive toys.

When faced with the challenge of building highly organic toy parts that could be tightly integrated into a Mechanical design workflow, IS Robotics turned to digital modeling and the MicroScribe. Only the MicroScribe allows the digitizing of an organic model that is clean enough for quick refinement.

A model digitized by the MicroScribe can be modified, and scrutinized by expert sculptors from Hasbro right up until the last minutes before it is sent of to mold maker.
