Title: AutoCad and Mechanical Desktop
Great News!
Digitizing Directly in AutoCad and Mechanical Desktop is back!
We can now digitize directly into AutoCad and Mechanical Desktop 2009.
AutoCAD® 2009 with the Immersion MicroScribe interface lets you design, visualize, and document your ideas clearly and efficiently. With AutoCAD 2009 and Immersion MicroScribe Direct Measure capability you’ll achieve new highs of productivity. The New MicroScribe – AutoCAD® 2009 interface helps to conceptualize and visualize part or object designs, include real world part and object design characteristics and accelerate CAD and design tasks.
The Immersion - AutoCAD® 2009 Interface allows AutoCAD® 2009 users to interactively create part or object CAD models thru direct measurement of parts or objects features and leverage of all the power of AutoCAD® 2009.
Users can quickly capture critical characteristics of current parts or objects to simplify forward engineering tasks, accelerate the reverse engineering process and simplify timely CAD model updates of production parts.
Drag the MicroScribe styli over the part or object and users can directly scan profiles and 3D contours into AutoCAD® for easy 3D profile and surface creation. Organic surfaces can be easily captured with cross-section planes tools and automatically capture points only at each cut plane to insure accurate 3D surface points and resultant 3D surfaces.
In addition, the Immersion MicroScribe connection to AutoCAD® 2009 simplifies geometry creation thru measurement right at your workstation and includes point measurement, 2pt/ 3pt circle capture, radii, multi point arcs, 3D poly lines, 3D Splines, 3D Surfaces and more.
This is a great solution for AutoCAD® 2009 users and to take advantage of the Immersion MicroScribe – AutoCAD® 2009 interface, users do not need to purchase any new software. The MicroScribe Utility Software (MUS) provided with all MicroScribes is all that is required.
Training is a breeze. Since users already known AutoCAD® 2009 there is very little else to learn other than how set up the MicroScribe. All the commands are Native AutoCAD® 2009.
